Top 5 Maps and Navigation Apps on Android in Kuwait - Q3 2021

Throughout the third quarter of 2021, the top five Maps and Navigation applications on the Android platform in Kuwait showed varied performance in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the trends for each app based on Sensor Tower data.

Navionics® Boating experienced fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at $344 in mid-July and dipping to $94 by the end of August. Weekly downloads ranged between 26 and 64, with a notable spike to 64 in mid-July. Active users saw a modest increase from 259 to 269 over the quarter.

Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps showed an upward trend in weekly revenue towards the end of Q3, climbing from $69 in early September to $210 in the last week. Download numbers varied, reaching up to 168 in early September. Active user numbers fluctuated, ending the quarter at 143.

Gaia GPS: Offroad Hiking Maps saw weekly revenue rise to $85 in late September, despite weekly downloads remaining relatively low, peaking at 32 in late July. Active user counts increased slightly, ending the quarter at 75.

iGO Navigation experienced a significant rise in weekly revenue, peaking at $113 in early September. Downloads remained modest, with a peak of 24 in late June. The number of active users remained stable, hovering around 40 to 50 throughout the quarter.

Radarbot Speed Camera Detector demonstrated strong performance, with a steady increase in weekly revenue, reaching $108 by the end of September. Weekly downloads peaked at 387 in mid-August, while active user numbers remained robust, peaking at 933 in mid-August.
